Really love this wig! 😍 The curls are beautiful, it’s soft and looks very natural when worn. The quality is really good for the price, and it looks just like the pictures. Definitely happy with my purchase!
Refund policy
YOYO CROWN
Return, Exchange & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 18 September 2026
1. About This Policy
This Return, Exchange & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from YOYO CROWN (Pty) Ltd (“YOYO CROWN”, “we”, “us” or “our”) through our website and other authorised sales channels.
YOYO CROWN (Pty) Ltd is a South African registered private company and operates the YOYO CROWN brand.
This policy explains our procedures for returns, exchanges and refunds. It is intended to be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and other applicable policies.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit, exclude or waive any rights that you may have under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”), or any other applicable legislation.
Where a provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the applicable law will prevail.
2. Change-of-Mind Returns
Where permitted by applicable law, YOYO CROWN may accept a change-of-mind return within 30 days of delivery.
For a voluntary change-of-mind return, the product should generally be:
- Unused and unworn;
- In its original condition;
- In its original packaging, where reasonably possible;
- Accompanied by original tags, accessories and inserts;
- Free from damage, stains, odours, styling products or other contamination;
- Not altered, installed, cut, styled or otherwise modified; and
- Accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
A change-of-mind return is different from a return relating to a defective, unsafe, damaged or incorrectly supplied product.
This 30-day period does not replace or limit any statutory consumer rights available under South African law.
3. Your Statutory Consumer Rights
YOYO CROWN respects the consumer rights provided under the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
Goods supplied to consumers are subject to statutory quality requirements and an implied warranty of quality.
Where goods fail to satisfy the applicable statutory requirements, including where they are defective, unsafe, unsuitable for their intended purpose or otherwise fail to meet the standards required by law, the consumer may have statutory remedies.
Under section 56 of the CPA, where applicable, a consumer may return qualifying goods within six months after delivery if the goods fail to satisfy the requirements and standards contemplated by the Act. Subject to the circumstances and the consumer's statutory rights, the consumer may be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced, or to receive a refund.
YOYO CROWN will assess statutory claims in accordance with the CPA and other applicable South African legislation.
We will not reject a valid statutory claim merely because the customer's request falls outside our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return period.
4. Return Eligibility
For ordinary change-of-mind returns, products must meet the requirements in Section 2.
Certain products may be excluded from voluntary change-of-mind returns because of their nature, hygiene considerations, customisation or other legitimate reasons.
However, an exclusion for a voluntary return does not remove a consumer's statutory rights in respect of defective, unsafe or non-conforming goods.
5. How to Request a Return
To request a return, contact:
Email: Shop.3flavours@gmail.com
Your request should include:
- Full name;
- Order number;
- Contact details;
- Reason for the return;
- Description of the issue, where applicable; and
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging where relevant.
For damaged, defective or incorrect products, photographs may help us assess the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
YOYO CROWN may provide return instructions after reviewing the request.
Customers should not send products to an address without first receiving return instructions from YOYO CROWN.
6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If you receive:
- A damaged product;
- A defective product;
- A product that is materially different from what you ordered; or
- The wrong product,
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may request photographs, videos, order information or other reasonable information necessary to investigate the issue.
Where the issue is covered by applicable consumer law, YOYO CROWN will provide the remedy required by law.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the resolution may include:
- Repair;
- Replacement;
- Refund; or
- Another legally appropriate remedy.
A 48-hour reporting period may be requested for logistical purposes, particularly for visible delivery damage, but failure to notify us within 48 hours does not automatically waive statutory rights that you may have under South African law.
7. Products That Cannot Be Returned for Change of Mind
Because of their nature, hygiene requirements, customisation or other applicable considerations, certain products may not qualify for a voluntary change-of-mind return.
These may include:
- Personal-care or beauty products where return would create hygiene or health concerns;
- Cosmetics and certain hair-care products where opened or used;
- Custom-made or personalised products;
- Custom wig units or specially tailored products;
- Products that have been cut, coloured, chemically treated, installed or materially altered at the customer's request;
- Products that have been worn or used where their condition prevents resale;
- Gift cards; and
- Products clearly identified as final-sale items.
This section does not exclude statutory remedies for products that are defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to comply with applicable consumer-protection legislation.
8. Wigs, Hair Extensions and Hair Products
For hygiene and quality-control reasons, YOYO CROWN may not accept voluntary change-of-mind returns for wigs, weaves, extensions or similar products that have been:
- Worn;
- Installed;
- Cut;
- Coloured;
- Bleached;
- Chemically treated;
- Washed or conditioned;
- Styled using products;
- Altered; or
- Otherwise used.
Products should be inspected before installation, cutting, styling or alteration.
Where a product is defective or does not comply with applicable statutory requirements, consumers retain their rights under South African law.
9. Exchanges
YOYO CROWN may offer exchanges for eligible products, subject to stock availability.
Where appropriate, we may process an exchange by:
- Approving the return of the original product;
- Receiving and inspecting the returned product where required; and
- Arranging the replacement product.
In some circumstances, we may recommend that the customer return the original product and place a new order for the desired product.
Any statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
10. Refunds
Once a returned product has been received and assessed, YOYO CROWN will determine the appropriate outcome based on the reason for the return and applicable law.
Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Refund processing may take up to 10 business days after YOYO CROWN has approved the refund, depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
Additional processing time may be required by banks, card issuers or payment providers.
Where South African law prescribes a specific refund period, that statutory requirement will apply.
11. Return Shipping Costs
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Where YOYO CROWN is responsible for supplying a defective, damaged or incorrect product, we will handle return shipping in accordance with the applicable circumstances and consumer law.
Where the CPA requires the supplier to bear the relevant return costs, YOYO CROWN will do so.
Change-of-Mind Returns
For voluntary change-of-mind returns that are not the result of a defect, incorrect product or other supplier error, the customer may be responsible for the reasonable cost of returning the product.
Any applicable return costs will be communicated to the customer before the return is processed.
12. Direct Marketing and Cooling-Off Rights
Certain consumer transactions entered into as a result of direct marketing may be subject to statutory cooling-off rights under South African law.
The CPA generally provides a consumer with a five-business-day cooling-off period for qualifying direct-marketing transactions, subject to the requirements and exceptions in the legislation.
This statutory right is separate from YOYO CROWN's voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return policy.
Where a statutory cooling-off right applies, YOYO CROWN will process the cancellation and refund in accordance with applicable law.
13. International Orders
Customers purchasing from outside South Africa may be subject to consumer-protection laws applicable in their country or jurisdiction.
Where mandatory consumer legislation applies to an international transaction, YOYO CROWN will comply with applicable legal requirements to the extent required.
Customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country, where applicable.
14. Fraudulent or Abusive Returns
YOYO CROWN may investigate suspected fraudulent activity, misuse of the returns process or attempts to obtain refunds for products that have been materially altered, used or misrepresented.
Nothing in this section permits YOYO CROWN to refuse a legitimate statutory consumer claim.
Where a return or refund request appears fraudulent, we may request reasonable evidence or information before processing the request.
15. Proof of Purchase
A valid order number, receipt, invoice, payment confirmation or other reasonable evidence of purchase may be requested to process a return or refund.
Where a purchase was made through YOYO CROWN's website, we may be able to verify the transaction using our order records.
16. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with a product, return decision or refund, please contact YOYO CROWN first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.
Email: Shop.3flavours@gmail.com
We will consider complaints in accordance with our internal procedures and applicable South African consumer-protection legislation.
Nothing in this policy prevents a consumer from exercising any right to approach an appropriate regulatory body, consumer-protection authority, tribunal or court where permitted by law.
